Unbreakable Journeys connects mesothelioma patients, caregivers, family members, and legacy keepers with trained peer supporters who have lived some part of this journey. Whether you are newly diagnosed, caring for someone you love, living with uncertainty, or grieving a loss, we can help connect you with someone who understands.
This program is created by the mesothelioma community, for the mesothelioma community. It is designed to provide connection, encouragement, and lived-experience support – not medical advice, legal advice, crisis counseling, or professional care.

Who the Program is for
You may request support for yourself, or request information on behalf of someone you love with their permission.
Patients & Survivors
Newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment, long-term survivors, or those facing recurrence or progression.
Legacy Keepers
People grieving the loss of someone to mesothelioma, whether recent or years ago.
Caregivers & Family
Spouses, partners, adult children, parents, siblings, close friends, or others providing support.

How the Match Process Works
A simple, thoughtful process guided by a real person at every step.
We do our best to make meaningful matches based on lived experience, role, diagnosis type when relevant, caregiver or legacy keeper experience, availability, and communication preferences. Because this is a volunteer peer program, exact matches may not always be available, but we will do our best to connect you with someone who can offer understanding and support.

Program Review
A program coordinator reviews your request to understand your needs and identify a thoughtful peer match.
Peer Introduction
Your first conversation can be by email, phone, text or video depending on availability and preferences.
Ongoing Support
Some matches may be one conversation; others may continue with overtime depending on your needs and availability.
